Installation, use and wiring inspection of current transformers

(1) The installation of current transformers depends on the configuration of the equipment. Generally, there are the following situations:
① Install the current transformer on the metal frame. Electrician's House
②At the place where the busbar passes through the wall or floor, fix the current transformer directly on the wall or floor with foundation screws, or make a rectangular frame of the angle iron and embed it in the wall or floor, and then install the iron with the same size as the frame. Plate (about 4mm thick), fixed on the frame with screws or electric welding, and then fix the current transformer on the iron plate. Current transformers are generally installed at a certain height from the ground. Since the current transformer itself is heavy during installation, special attention should be paid to prevent damage to the porcelain bottle when lifting upward.
③ During installation, the centers of the three current transformers should be on the same plane, the intervals between the transformers should be consistent, and the bases of the current transformers should be well grounded. (2) The primary winding of the current transformer is connected in series with the tested circuit, and the secondary winding is connected in series with the electrical measuring instrument. The polarity symbols cannot be mistaken when wiring. In actual work, due to limited conditions, it is also possible to completely reverse the connection of the primary and secondary terminals of each phase of the current transformer.
(3) In a three-phase circuit, the transformation ratio and capacity of each phase current transformer should be the same.
(4) The secondary winding of the current transformer cannot be opened. Otherwise, high voltage will be generated, endangering the safety of equipment and operating personnel;
At the same time, due to the overheating of the iron core, there is a possibility of burning out the transformer: the error of the current transformer also increases.
